Salt Lake City Tour (CMS 2026)

One of the legacies of the pioneers was a culture where neighbors help neighbors in an organized way and a strong feeling for family relationships. In that era, these were critical elements for survival as they fled religious persecution, only to face the hardships of taming a wild frontier, of sparse provisions, of sickness, of exposure to harsh weather conditions, and even death.

Out of that adversity, however, sprang a vibrant culture of self reliance with faith in God, devotion to family, and service to others, which today has blossomed into vast programs in support of those values. At the heart of these programs in Salt Lake City are the Family History Library, the Humanitarian Aid Center, the Bishops Storehouse, Welfare Square, and Temple Square and Conference Center. These tours will take you inside the workings of the massive facilities that are on the front line of these undertakings whose services transcend nations and cultures.
