- The hike to the cave and tour take about 3.5 hours.
- WHAT: Mount Timpanogos is one of the large mountains to the north of Provo. On its north side is Timpanogos Cave National Monument, a large and stunningly beautiful cave complex. No trip to Utah Valley is complete without exploring this geologic wonder. Hiking up to the cave from the parking lot is a somewhat strenuous activity, so bring good shoes and water. No strollers or pets allowed.
